OAHU’S TOP WEDDING VENDORS
Here are my recommendations for Oahu’s top wedding vendors! i get the question all the time about which vendors i recommend for my couples. Oahu is such a unique place because this island really is so small, so this was a super hard choice to make. i love all the vendors i work with so much but i thought long and hard about which vendors have the same style and vision as i do. i picked out my top favs and i cannot wait to share them with you! this island is full of fabulous vendors and so i cannot wait to share with you my suggestions on Oahu’s top wedding vendors.
PLANNING AND COORDINATION: FOR THE GOOD EVENTS
Where do i even begin with these guys?! i met richel and the team when i first got into wedding photography and we have been friends ever since. as a photographer, i love working with ftg for many reasons. they have a design ability unlike any other. they can truly give you a concept that is 100% unique! they think of every detail and are so kind. on top of that, they are so organized. my favorite weddings have been with them being the planners because the day always runs so smoothly. i cannot recommend them enough!
REVEAL HAIR AND MAKEUP
I have worked with so many amazing make up artists here on island that picking one in particular was super hard. i picked reveal for quality and convenience. literally every single one of my reveal brides looks the same at 10pm as they did at 10am. reveal does such an amazing job putting on makeup that stays! my brides can sweat, cry, laugh, dance, and everything in between and their makeup doesn’t move an inch. on top of that, they are so reliable and travel right to you.
FLORIST: LULU'S LEI AND BOUQUET
Lulus Lei and bouquet has been one of my favorites since day one here on island. i have used lulus for all of my own floral needs. she has been the florist for all the workshops and styled shoots that i have ever hosted because i cannot imagine working with anyone else. she has such an eye and is so talented! every single one of my couples who have gone with her have been totally in love with their florals.
VENUE: KUALOA RANCH
I am going to go ahead and pick two venues because it was so hard to pick just one. a venue is something so personal. you have to take into account your vision, your party size, and the aspects of the day that are most important to you. i picked Kualoa for all of my greenery, mountain, open space lovers. Kualoa does a fabulous job at allowing couples the space to create! i have seen their venues completely transformed time after time. it also is just very simple! the landscape is so breathtaking that there does not have to be too many details or decor. i have shot at this venue dozens of times and i still never get sick of it.
VENUE: LOULU PALM
If a mountain, green wedding is not for you and you are wanting more of a beach vibe, i have to recommend Loulu palm north shore estate. located right on the north shore of Oahu, this little estate gives you all that your looking for in a quiet, easy location. you have the gorgeous, famous north shore right at your fingertips as well as a big lawn, a covered lanai, and a gorgeous farm house. every single one of my weddings at Loulus have been spectacular. it is perfect for any party size and really just offers my couples a private space where they can throw the party they always dreamed of! not to mention, sunset is right there on the beach so your sunset photos will be gorgeous!
RENTALS: ALOHA ARTISANS
Where do i even begin with these guys?! everything you see pictured below is part of the aloha artisans collection. they have some of the best collections on island for all your wedding rental needs. their lounge sets, arches, rugs, etc. are all so modern and gorgeous! i have seen them make custom pieces just for my couples so that they can literally have everything they’ve ever wanted. they literally come, bring all that you ordered, set up, and then pick it up when your party is over. it is so simple. i cannot rave about these guys enough!!
GETTING READY: LAYLOW WAIKIKI
When i book staycations here on island, this is where i go. i absolutely love the laylow. it is just a fun, modern hotel and not to mention, the wallpaper is to die for. imagine fun getting ready portraits with this as the backdrop?! not only that, the rooms are all super well lit, there are tons of fun locations around the hotel, and it is located right in waikiki so you are close to everything. you literally cannot go wrong with picking this place!
GETTING READY: FOUR SEASONS OAHU
Imagine this view out your window as you get ready for your bid day! the four seasons in ko olina is my second choice for getting ready location. their rooms are so clean, modern, and spacious. there is so much natural light and your photos will literally look flawless if this is your getting ready location. not to mention, the hotel has so many gorgeous corners for bridesmaid photos, a first look, bridal party portraits, and my favorite bridals! i absolutely adore just shooting my brides and the four seasons gives space for all of that!
DRESS: BIJOU BRIDAL
A lot of my couples are not local to the island but if you are, bijou is my top recommendation for your dress shopping needs. when i was a bride, this was where i went and so i can share from first hand experience how fabulous they were. they are so patient, kind, and fashion forward. i got my dress and needed a ton of alterations and they did it all on site! you cannot go wrong heading there to look for your dress!!
CAKE: BEAR AND BEE BAKEHOUSE
I absolutely love dessert!! i always try the desserts at my couples weddings and i have to say my favorite is bear and bee bakehouse. they not only have super yummy sweets, but their presentation is 100% on point. it is so important to have both am i right?! reach out to them, they have tastings all the time and see for yourself how awesome they are!
DJ: SPECTRUM HAWAII
Ok, i love myself a good party and i have witnessed so many djs in my time and without a doubt, spectrum hawaii consistently puts on the best show. they alter based on the crowd and just have a way to get the whole crowd dancing and enjoying themselves. they are organized and super creative! you have to go with them! it was super easy to add them to the list of oahu’s top wedding vendors.
PONO GRACE: VIDEO
I have worked with many videographers and have never actually worked with pono before but i have followed his instagram for awhile and seriously love his work. i love creative shots, good tunes, and something completely original and unique and pono delivers that. video is a huge investment but i cannot recommend it enough. i have been married since 2017 and my husband and i still watch our video multiple times a year.
STIR BEVERAGE: BAR
Stir sincerely just brings it all. they have a gorgeous bar that is such a statement piece! it looks so modern and classy all at the same time. not only that, they have such amazing presentation and the drinks are always super unique and fun. i have seem some super yummy specialty drinks and all of the couples have been super pleased with their experience with them!
PHOTO BOOTH: PENNY LANE VW BUS
Okay, i cannot rave about this next one enough. if you are wanting a photobooth, you have to look up penny lane. the owners converted a vw bus into a photobooth and it is hands down the most adorable thing ever. i had penny come to my last photography workshop here on island and we played for hours!! it was so much fun and not to mention, it is so cute! your guests will all love it and the photos print out right there so you can take them home. i couldn’t make a post about oahu’s top wedding vendors and not include them!

And last but not least, for all your photography needs: you got me babes!! i have been shooting weddings since 2018 and have not looked back one time. i absolutely adore shooting weddings and i couldn’t imagine another job for me. i have shot over 50 weddings in my two years and have got all 5 star reviews. i care about my clients, take the time to get to know them, and ensure that their final images are unique, memorable, and centered on them!
