Dreamy. Intimate. Intentional. Those would be the words to describe these two and their perfect, perfect day!! This beautiful Paliku Gardens wedding at Kualoa Ranch was the perfect example of how you can have a large guest list but still make your special day feel incredibly intentional + intimate! Everything from the lush greenery to the intricate details; this summer wedding was one for the books.

Jonathan + Kela reached out to me through a vendor referral! Once we got in touch, we Facetimed and immediately knew it was a good match; J + K are SO sweet, intentional, and easy to get along with. They wanted to capture not only how beautiful the venue space was, but also just wanted to capture all of the love and good feelings that encompassed their day.

They booked me to capture both the rehearsal dinner and wedding, and both days were so special. One of the coolest parts? They had the same band that played at their parent’s wedding play at their rehearsal dinner! Talk about INTENTIONAL. Not only that, but the groom’s mother also made the wine for the wedding AND the bride’s mother performed the hula for her during the reception; SO cool!

The whole experience was so intimate + special. They even planned to do family photos before the ceremony so they could just stop and enjoy the time with their guests and it made the day feel smooth and seamless!

These two for having a day centered on them and focused on loving those they love the most. Here’s to many, many, many years of sweet, sweet love!
