Effortless + Romantic Couples Beach Photo Session in Hawaii

Everything about this romantic beach couples session was so dreamy!! Shooting in Hawaii is always such a treat because the landscape is so diverse and unique - you can get dramatic mountains one second and sweeping coastal beaches the next. For this romantic sunset session, we were able to catch the perfect evening lighting on Oahu’s east side for a dreamy and effortless experience.

The couple wanted to capture a variety of different locations, so we adventured around Oahu’s east side and a few hit different beaches to really maximize the experience. Usually, that side of the island is best for sunrise in terms of lighting, but we decided to shoot at sunset for a softer + more delicate look; and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!

The couple was so laid-back and made it SO easy to capture their effortless love! This was their first vacation post all of the COVID shutdowns AND it was their first time getting professional photos taken together. They were absolutely incredible on and off the camera and we had such a beautiful time! They even jumped in the ocean at the end, and trust me, you’re going to want to keep scrolling to see those photos!

Photoshoot Tip:

Make sure you check in with your photographer to see when the best time is to shoot in terms of lighting for your location! Lighting can play a HUGE role in the whole vibe of your photos, so it’s always good to check so you get the most out of your experience and your vision!
