Kotomi and Steve are two of the most amazing, genuine people I have ever met. They had the most perfect rainy Kualoa Hale Nanea garden wedding! On the day of their wedding it was down pour raining. Originally they had booked for the secret island venue which is a private island that you take a catamaran out to. It is gorgeous! But, because of the rain and the floods, the venue was impossible to get to so they had to pick another location on the ranch. When I showed up I was so nervous. I wanted to make sure that they were calm and happy on this special day. As I went in to hug them, they both smiled, were carefree, and just happy about getting married. Kotomi told me that she would rather something like this happen on her wedding day that way, people never forget their special day.
Their ceremony was intimate and so special. Her grandmother and grandfather came all the way from Japan and it meant the world to her. All their closest family and friends were so positive and loving on this day. As I hugged her goodbye, I was sad to go! This was one of those wedding days I wish never ended. Kotomi taught me to be positive no matter what!! She made a muddy dress and rained on hair look fabulous and this will be a day I will never forget!
