Italy will forever be a dream wedding destination! I shot a few weddings in Europe this summer and Italy stole my heart with the romantic landscape, intentional lifestyle, pastel tones, vibrant culture, and artistic style. I was blown away by how gorgeous all of the venues were so I compiled a list of my top 10 wedding venues in Lake Como, Italy!
Top 10 Lake Como Italy Wedding Venues
Villa Canton: This villa is a dream. It’s a gorgeous 18th-century vineyard estate surrounded by lush greenery, stunning artistry, and romantic architecture. The golden light bathes the venue, casting long shadows and a warm glow making it feel oh so ethereal. Villa Canton is a 45-minute drive from Lake Como but is the perfect intimate setting for your destination wedding celebration. Couldn’t recommend enough!!
Villa Cipressi: This is also by far one of my favorite venues in Lake Como!! Its enchanting style, lush greenery, and panoramic view of Como is such a dream. The violet wisteria was blooming while I was there and it just screams artful, elegant, effortlessly emotive, and classically timeless. I can’t wait to go back to this venue and create some more magic!
Villa Balbiano: This venue is SO opulent and luxurious. This 17th-century romantic villa is so gorgeous nestled on the shores of Lake Como. The property is filled with expansive gardens, fragrant florals, and gorgeous cypress trees, making it perfectly intimate and private.
Hotel Via Del Este (Villa d’Este): I adore this venue if you’re looking for a 5-star resort-style venue! It’s renowned for its breathtaking views, impeccable service, and luxurious accommodations. Their ballrooms are oh-so opulent and the overall atmosphere is to die for!
Grand Hotel Tremezzo: Such a gem at Lake Como!! My favorite part about this venue is its private beach, romantic architectural design, and the most gorgeous lakefront views. They have expansive green lawns, lush botanical gardens, and private villas which are all such a beautiful touch to your wedding day atmosphere!!
Villa Gastel: Secluded and serene, this stunning villa is perfectly intimate and romantic. It has a 16th-century style with enchanting gardens and breathtaking lake views, perfect for a luxurious and intentional wedding day in Italy.
Villa Monastero: This stunning 17th-century villa is so captivating, timeless, charming, and romantic with its private botnalical garden! A small and intimate wedding celebration would be perfect here!
Villa Pizzo: It’s known for being one of the most exclusive wedding venues in Northern Italy with its lakeside garden, mountain views, stunning architecture. Love, love, love!!
Villa Bonomi: This elegant 18th-century villa offers a blend of sophistication and intimacy for your wedding celebration. The villa has a beautiful garden that feels so timeless, chic, and romantic.
Villa Balbianello: Seriously such a beautiful and iconic venue!! It’s located on the western shore of Lake Como and is such an architectural masterpiece. The garden ceremony space can hold up to 10 guests so it’s perfect for small-medium celebrations!
