North Shore, Oahu Sunset Couples Session – Oahu Photographer Sheyanne Lyn Photos
This Haleiwa couple’s session on the North Shore of Oahu was the most perfect night.
I met up with Zak and Bee at one of my favorite locations for couple sessions or engagement photos. This secluded beach on the North Shore of Oahu is filled with the endless beauty that Hawaii has to offer without the crowds. This is one of the reasons why it’s one of my favorite spots.
I was so excited for this shoot with Zak and Bee. They were literally just the sweetest and kindest people. They were both a little bit nervous going into the shoot because they had never been in front of the camera before.This made it even more fun because I got to help them be intentional in front of the camera. I really wanted to focus on their love for each other and capture them enjoying their favorite things here in Hawaii.
Their love was the sweetest that they had with one another. They were so gentle, loving, and kind and you could feel it while you photographed them. You could feel the love they had for one another and it made shooting so much fun. Zak said he hated being in front of the camera but at the end of it, he told me how it was such a blast. To me, that is one of the biggest compliments I could get as a photographer. I love making the actual photo-taking experience just as fun as receiving the gallery back!!
It truly was one of my ideal sessions. I love being able to just be casual, shoot around while we run up and down the beach, and watch the sun go down.
This evening on the North Shore felt like I was just hanging out with friends on the beach. That is why these kinds of shoots are my favorite. It started to pour and we had to hide under the bushes for a bit but they had such a great attitude and mindset through it all! It was all worth it when the rainbow appeared across the sky!
