A dream!!! Forever obsessed with this gorgeous Oahu Hawaii wedding day at Paliku Gardens. If I had to describe the vibe of the day in 3 words, it would be tropical, creative, and artistic. The couple put so much intention and focus on the design of their day and it was the perfect masterpiece of color, flow, and effortless style.

THE VISION

I always ask my couples what their overall vision for their day is. It helps me better understand not only them as a person, but also what they envision when it comes to capturing their wedding day. Wedding planning doesn’t have to be complicated!! I often see brides choose a more minimal approach to their design and planning and it always turns out to be such a beautiful and intentional day. If you’re not sure where to start, I highly recommend hiring a team of vendors that can bring your vision to life effortlessly. I’ve highlighted this wedding vendor list below!!

Here are some things you can focus on when it comes to the design and style of your day to not only help you but also your vendors bring your day to life!

• Color Theory: Research complementary colors to create a cohesive palette. There are so many online resources and tools that can help generate color pallets based on the vibe you’re going for!

• Texture Play: People often just think about the color scheme, but textures play such a huge role in the overall vibe of your wedding!! Play around with different fabrics, layouts, and types of seating/tables. A rustic farmhouse table will create a completely different vibe compared to a table wrapped in soft white linen.

In short, play around with everything and see what you like. It’s such an exciting time and I can’t wait to see your wedding day come to life!!
