To say that I was obsessed with every bit of this wedding is an understatement!!
I immediately fell in love with Jesse + Kaitlyn as soon as they filled out my contact form. They expressed that they just wanted their day to be filled with LOVE and wanted to capture every little detail and moment since a lot of their friends and family could not attend the wedding due to Covid. Kaitlyn ended up coming across one of my pictures on Pinterest and fell in love with the vibe. So she reached out to me immediately and ended up hiring me as their wedding photographer AS WELL AS Arluis; the wedding planner that was also part of the wedding from the Pinterest photo so she could have her dream team bring her dream wedding to life! It was so fun creating this vision for her and I loved every second of it.
One of the many special parts of being a wedding photographer is hearing about all of my clients’ love stories and how unique and special they are to each couple! Jesse + Kaitlyn met at work, fell in love, and got engaged after 4.5 years of being together at a beach in Maine. They’ve been through SO much together but continue to see the world in such a positive way.
The Wedding
The elopement was absolutely dreamy. They held their special day at Merriman’s Maui and it was a perfect-perfect location! They had their ceremony on the beach, had their first dance, and then headed to the restaurant where there was an intimate + lush outdoor space for them to hold a romantic sunset reception with their close friends + family.
They were on cloud nine and absolutely loved every moment. Not only was it a magical day, but it’s notable to mention that the bride did ALL of the calligraphy details and there were just so many personal touches throughout the entire day.
