Hellloooo this island desert engagement session is giving me all the feels!! Like when did Hawaii become Arizona??! Daphne reached out to me just one week before they arrived to Hawaii and asked if I had any openings for engagements. These two are from NYC and were coming to Hawaii to visit some venues, go to a friend’s wedding, and have a little vacation away from the busy city. I was totally booked but, I decided to squeeze them in for an early morning session and I am so glad I did. these New Yorkers know how to have a good time and are seriously the sweetest. They are some of the most laid back, happy people I’ve ever met! Like how did I get so lucky!
They shared with me how they didn’t want a beach and that they wanted something unique. I thought long and hard about where to take them and the koko head botanical garden came to mind. This place is full of everything from lush greens to giant cactus. When I showed her the photos, they were both sold and we decided on this venue. We created the most perfect island desert engagement session catered just to them and I am so glad we did.
