This cultural north shore oahu wedding was everything. These two combined their lives and cultures in such an effortless way. Jackie is Peruvian and Taylor is Samoan. They decided to make their day focused on bringing their two cultures together as a symbol of how they will continue to celebrate each other in their marriage. Like how cool is that?!
This was a special wedding for me. Jackie was one of my very first friends when I moved to Hawaii back in 2013. We actually met on Twitter and ended up living in the same apartment complex. My husband and I actually set Jackie and Taylor up and so watching them get married was such a special moment. Jackie was also my first model out here in Hawaii. She would let me shoot her and Taylor just to build my portfolio. We had so many memories together and I felt so grateful when they asked me to capture their day. But, seeing that we are such great friends, she also asked me to be a bridesmaid so for the first time I was bridesmaid and photographer, can ya see me?!
Taylor and Jackie’s wedding was flawless. Their cultural North Shore Oahu wedding was unforgettable and special to every single person that was there. Everyone felt so loved and treasured by these two. I wish these two the absolute world. They are the greatest people ever and I love them soo freakin much.
