Elegant Bridal Portraits in Paris, France
As a child I was enamored with fashion. I would try and sew my own clothes and create mood board collages from fashion magazines. Part of why I love being a wedding photographer is that I’m able to experience that same wonder through my couples’ unique fashion choices, while also documenting it for them to relive and enjoy for years to come. This is what led to these bridal portraits in Paris, France. Daria and Edouard’s wedding had already taken place prior to this, but with Daria’s love of fashion a portrait session in the romantic city of Paris felt only natural.
Bridal Portraits in the City of Love
Daria wore two stunning gowns from WONA Concept for her wedding day, both of which carried a feeling of refined luxury that fit perfectly within the wonderful city of Paris. The first was an astounding regal design, with this incredible voluminous skirt that was a legit showstopper. The elegance of this dress was breathtaking to behold. Her second dress was equally as wonderful. The gorgeous piece featured an A-Line silhouette with a long train, intricate and ornate patterns throughout, and a level of sophistication that felt right at home at a place like The Louvre.
With gowns as remarkable as these, it should come as no surprise as to why Daria wanted to capture these bridal portraits in the remarkable city of Paris, France.
Our Chosen Locations for Bridal Portraits in Paris, France
As I’ve mentioned previously, part of this session's magic came from the immensely beautiful settings we found ourselves in. Bridal portraits with a couple like Daria and Edouard would be wonderful anywhere, especially in these gowns from WONA Concept, but having them amidst the regal, historic beauty of Paris, France made it all the more special.
With Daria’s first gown we had three wonderful locations as our backdrops. First was Trocadéro for its astounding views of the grand Eiffel Tower. Next was Petit Palais, whose golden gates and remarkable architecture are truly a wonder to behold. Then came Pont Alexandre III, a historic bridge over the Seine River complete with gold and stone sculptures that really provide a regal feel to the space.
For Daria’s second gown there was only one place left that felt fitting for its elegance, The Louvre. The breathtaking architecture of the museum carries such historic weight to it that leaves you in awe. The iconic glass pyramid juxtaposes this with its modern elegance, providing an astounding variety in a single space. For these bridal portraits in Paris, France, it was as grand of a finale as we could have dreamt of.
I’m beyond honored to have been a part of this session and experience. For more Paris wedding inspiration you can check out this wedding at Château de Santeny, and for those of you looking to book me as your wedding photographer head to my contact page to inquire today!
