Intimate Beach Elopement on North Shore, Hawaii

Lesego and Michael’s Intimate beach elopement was such a simple yet beautiful day. I met with them on the north shore of Oahu, on pipeline beach. It is a world-famous beach known for surfing, but it is also one of my favorite spots in Hawaii.

These two were some of the sweetest people I have ever met. They were kind, loving, and just simply enjoyed being around one another. It was so easy to photograph their love because you could tell just how in love they were. They wanted to keep things very simple and intimate, and the day came out perfectly.

They started with a simple ceremony on the sand with just the two. There was no one around so it was very quiet, with the sound of waves crashing in the background. These moments are so intimate and special and a reason that I love elopements. We popped some champagne after to celebrate!

They had a sweet little picnic on the sand with fresh mango and coconuts. It was so simple but made the day feel even more special. Right as they sat down for their picnic it started to rain. They just embraced it and let it happen, and it ended up being so much fun!

After the picnic, we took some bridal portraits and Lesego and Michael jumped in the ocean in their wedding attire! They were so carefree and had so much fun, in turn, made for some amazing shots!

We met up the next day for a “day after” session and they were just beaming! This intimate beach elopement on the North Shore turned out to be the perfect weekend.
